German enterprises gather in Hefei for cooperation

Hefei, the capital of Anhui province, hosted the "German Enterprises Visit to Hefei" event at the Sino-German Cooperation and Innovation Park. Officials of Hefei and Joachim Léonhardt, chairman of board of BVMW, delivered speeches to representatives from 45 Chinese and German enterprises, cities, economic development zones along with officials from relevant administrations.

A warm welcome was first extended to the German enterprises, with emphasis of Hefei's commitment to Sino-German cooperation, the growing bilateral trade, investment, and close exchanges. Hefei has established sister city relationships with four German cities, laying a solid foundation for mutual development.

During the event, city officials and representatives of Grand Innovation of Union (GUi) made introductions about local industries and the investment environment, while representatives from Volkswagen (Anhui) and Reichenbacher  Hamuel GmbH shared insights and proposed cooperation ideas.

The following day, German delegates visited GUi, and local technology firms such as Sungrow Power Supply, exploring business opportunities.

Organized by the Hefei municipal people's government and supported by the GUiTEK service platform, the event aimed to foster collaboration between local and German enterprises.

During this event, BVMW and GUi have fostered meaningful exchanges between enterprises, offering a platform for fruitful discussions and potential partnerships.

The event underscores Hefei's efforts to enhance international cooperation and attract foreign investment, showcasing the city's appeal as a hub for innovation and development.
