On April 2, Xu Xin, the director of the Cornell China Center at Peking University, led a delegation to visit Grand Innovation of Union (GUi). The visit included discussions with representatives from GUi Service Platform, the University of Science and Technology of China International Finance Research Institute and local technological companies.
During the meeting, Xu gained valuable insights into Hefei's development and learned about GUi's reform initiatives, overall objectives, work direction, and key tasks. The development of GUi itself has seen remarkable progress, facilitating the rapid implementation of high-tech projects and attracting a diverse pool of top-tier talent, thus establishing a relatively mature yet still thriving innovation ecosystem.

Looking ahead, GUi aims to sustain partnerships with global universities, fostering a platform for knowledge exchange and innovation acceleration, as well as the collaboration with esteemed scholars and entrepreneurs to further enhance its development trajectory. These efforts seek to infuse GUi with fresh impetus for high-quality growth. Such interactions are vital for advancing scientific research and cooperation in technology and innovation.
