GUi serves as rising hub for innovation in Anhui

At the recent 13th China Central Investment and Trade Expo, Grand Union of Innovation (GUi) emerged as a key player in Anhui's tech landscape, with more than half of the exhibitors in the province's area tied to the platform.

Launched in 2022, GUi is dedicated to innovation-driven development, focusing on tech commercialization, startup incubation, and fostering emerging industries. With over 1,391 enterprises and over 200 funds exceeding $30 billion, it has become a magnet for global talent and projects.

Returning professionals, like Weiwei Xu of Chengling Microelectronics, are shaping groundbreaking technologies, from high-performance chips to autonomous driving systems. GUi's support extends beyond funding to include talent incentives, collaborative platforms, and access to a thriving innovation ecosystem.

The platform also plays a global role, establishing innovation centers in Silicon Valley, United States; Tokyo, and Cambridge while creating networks across China's major cities. These hubs have facilitated partnerships, bringing in 32 high-profile projects and unlocking resources for growth.

With its integration of academia, industry, and finance, GUi offers comprehensive support to diverse sectors, from robotics to renewable energy. In just two years, it has transformed into a powerhouse of opportunity, reflecting Anhui's ambition to lead in technology and innovation.
