Hefei platform holds second equity training session

The second edition of an equity training program dedicated to the sci-tech innovation sector was held by the Grand Union of Innovation or GUI – an innovation service platform based in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province – on Oct 27-28.

A large number of companies and well-known investment institutions took part. The program aimed to help sci-tech companies meet the challenges arising from technological progress and the changing business environment.

The GUI is said to focus on the needs of enterprises and helps innovative entrepreneurial teams go further.

Unlike regular training, the equity training program focused on addressing the technological challenges faced by companies and addressed their concerns. It specifically targeted the difficulties confronting sci-tech startups.

The training also focused on equity capital strategies – covering topics such as equity designs, equity financing, equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, resolving equity disputes and equity transfers.

Furthermore, the training delved deep into analyzing the successes and failures of equity strategies in different industries.

By adopting a themed teaching approach and combining partner-led practical training sessions and roadshows, the training aimed to boost the capacity of the participants and promote their collaborative problem-solving.

"The equity training program organized by the GUI was an intense two-day knowledge sharing and brainstorming," said Yang Yuanfan from Shengke Culture.

"After the training and practical exercises, everyone gained a lot and wanted to participate in similar activities in the future," Yang added.
