Cheng Kai, chairman of the China Disabled Persons' Federation (CDPF), recently met with a team led by the head of Mitsubishi Group China headquarters.
Cheng welcomed the visiting guests and introduced the achievements made in the cause of persons with disabilities in China. He expressed the hope for further enhancing mutual trust and understanding to consolidate and expand friendly exchanges in the field of disabilities affairs between China and Japan. The team lauded the achievements seen in China's disability sector and called for more cooperation in the field between the two sides.
The eighth Mitsubishi Friendship Cup, sponsored by enterprises of Mitsubishi Group in China, was held in late April in Beijing, which featured a grassroots soccer tournament for people with disabilities.
Officials from the International Department of the CDPF, the China Administration of Sports for Persons with Disabilities, and the China Foundation for Disabled Persons attended the meeting.
