Premier Li Qiang of the State Council met with International President of Lions Clubs International Patti Hill and her delegation at the Great Hall of the People, on Dec 10, 2023. Li said that he hopes Lions Clubs International will strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the China Disabled Persons' Federation (CDPF) and the China Council of Lions Clubs. The 6th China-US Coordination Meeting on Disability was successfully held from Nov 6 to 9, which played a constructive role in promoting the positive development of relations between the two countries.
The CDPF actively participated in the Belt an Road cooperation, organizing the third Belt and Road High-level Event on Disability Cooperation and the first meeting on cooperation in the field of disability between China and Arab countries, and promoted practical cooperation among countries and regions along the Belt and Road in the fields of rehabilitation, assistive devices, culture and sports for people of disability.
