The 2016 China-ASEAN and e-commerce class for the disabled under the APEC framework will be held in Nanning from September 22 to 27. The training class is held under the auspices of the China Disabled Persons’ Federation and the Guangxi Disabled Persons’ Federation. It is sponsored by the Chinese government and organized by the China-ASEAN disabled forum and the APEC disability issues group. About 60 disabled people and their teachers will join the class.

The training covers an introduction to e-commerce development situations, including future trends, operation strategies, and all-channel analysis. It aims to help the disabled grasp basic knowledge and skills to start their own businesses online, so they can improve their livelihoods and realize their self-value. The Asia-pacific area will draw closer due to the development of the Internet economy.

The class will encourage more people with disabilities to become involved in the Internet economy, and promote cooperation between the countries of Asia-pacific and ASEAN.
